Cadillac Ranch Solar Eclipse Campers,

We are excited about the upcoming Eclipse October 13 and 14 of this year and are looking forward to sharing the experience with you! We are completely booked and have been for months.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:

·       Bluff, Utah is a small town. We have 265 residents and 5 restaurants. There is no fast-food. We expect around 20,000 visitors for the Eclipse. Supplies and Groceries will be severely limited.

o   So bring your own food or Eat with us by ordering in advance.

·       There is a single gas station in town. Fill up before you arrive in Bluff. You may not be able to get gas again before you leave Bluff.

·       Bluff has gone to significant efforts to help you know what you can expect while you are here. Check out this link for more information

·       While you may be coming for the eclipse, don’t forget to check out the night sky, too! We are a dark skies community so there is little to no ambient light from the town.

·       Our special event cancellation policy has been updated.

o   There will be no refunds for inclement weather or overcast skies. Bluff generally has clear skies, but we can’t guarantee that will be the case.

o   There will be no refunds for early departures or for cancellations within 2 weeks of the eclipse.

o   We have turned away a lot of people in order to reserve your site.

PARK RECENTLY UPGRADED

We are also excited about our recent expansion that we just completed!  We have expanded the number of RV sites from 14 to 34.  All sites are pull-through and the new sites are quite a bit larger than the original sites.  We have also added a laundry facility and three more bathroom/shower rooms bringing the total to 7 complete, private bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower.  The original bathroom building is well used but immaculate with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. One guest said, upon leaving, “That was the best shower I’ve had in my entire life.” We are totally booked for the eclipse weekend. 

HIGHLY ACCLAIMED CATERER COMING

We want to make this a fun and exciting weekend for our guests.  We have arranged a highly acclaimed caterer to come to the park to provide buffet style barbecued meals for our guests for Friday night dinner and Saturday afternoon lunch. (The eclipse will start at 10:30 am Saturday and will last for 5 minutes).

·       Catered Friday Dinner will include Ribs, pulled pork, Dutch oven potatoes, hot biscuits and jam, spiced green beans, salad with dressing, dessert bars and cherry surprise for dessert and lemonade to drink.  The early bird prices for the dinner is $32.00 a plate

·       Catered Saturday Lunch will include marinated and smoked sliced chicken breast, biscuits, baked mac and cheese with two other sides to be announced.  and lunch $28.00 a plate.

ADDITIONAL MEALS AVAILABLE

Other meals will be prepared by campground staff.

SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWING GLASSES

Early Bird prices expire on 9/25/23. At that time the catered dinner will cost $38.00 and the catered lunch will cost $32.00. Other meals will also have similar price increases.
